According to a permit application filed with the city of Palo Alto, a new Denny’s is coming to 3375 El Camino Real.

A new Denny’s location is coming to 3375 El Camino Real in Palo Alto. The address is currently home to Corner Bakery Cafe, a similar “casual, counter-serve cafe chain offering a standard menu of sandwiches, pasta, and pastries.” According to a permit application filed with the city of Palo Alto, building renovations include an interior refresh, an updated dining layout, and updated kitchen equipment.

Denny’s is known best known for its all-day breakfast options, including the Classic Benny Breakfast — a toasted English muffin topped with ham, over-medium eggs, and Hollandaise sauce, served with hash browns — and the Everyday Value Slam, which comes with two buttermilk pancakes, one slice of French toast or a biscuit and gravy, served with eggs, plus bacon strips or sausage links.

As of 2022, the American diner-style restaurant chain operates over 1,700 restaurants internationally, with 369 Dennys restaurants in the US. According to Scrapehero, within California alone there are 369 stores, making up about 26% of all Denny’s locations in the US.

What Now San Francisco was unable to contact a company representative by the time of publication. An opening date has not yet been announced.
