Oaklandside reports that Crumble & Whisk is currently under construction at 4104 MacArthur Blvd. in the Laurel District. Farriér currently operates the business out of the kitchen there, but says that he hopes to open to the public in August.
Currently, he sells a limited menu online and at farmers markets in Livermore, Ferry Plaza, Grand Lakes, Marin, and Walnut Creek. Customers already can’t get enough of the mini and full-size cheesecakes such as Strawberry Fields, a lemon variety named Puckered Up!, and Chocolate Marble.
The restaurant will serve these and other cheesecake flavors, plus house-made cinnamon rolls, turnovers, coffee cakes, loaf cakes, banana pudding, and other dessert items. Farriér will also expand the menu to include sandwiches and other items, like a savory cheesecake box for breakfast.
