According to SFist, Cassava in North Beach — located at 401 Columbus Avenue, near establishments such as Caffe Greco, Stella Pastry, and The Stinking Rose — is shuttering. Its owners, however, have plans to debut various new concepts in the Bay Area.

“As owner Yuka Ioroi announced on Instagram, Sunday, November 17 is the last day of service, and later, she and chef Kristoffer Toliao plan to open a takeout-only window in the Financial District,” the Journal shares.

The report continues, “They are also consulting on the reopening of North Beach Restaurant, where much of the staff of Cassava will be moving… And looking ahead, they plan to open another dinner-only restaurant featuring nouveau bistro cuisine in the future.”

What Now San Francisco reached out to Ioroi to confirm the news, but she could not provide additional information before publication.
