Teaspoon is a boba tea cafe that started in Los Altos. The founders, Amy Lai and David Fan are committed to serving high-quality tea in a high-quality environment. Established in March 2015, Lai said she was inspired by her Chinese upbringing where her family have brought her to different tea shops and always had boba tea in their lives.

Her vision for Teaspoon was to provide an environment for all ages and all cultural backgrounds to enjoy the drink and so that people of non-Asian culture know and discover the product for themselves.

They now have over 20 locations rooted right in California and close by! There are shops in Los Altos, Palo Alto, Hayward, Fremont, and Polk St. in San Francisco.

Teaspoon will be at the heart of Salvio Pacheco Square at Todos Santos Plaza, an extremely busy and lively place to be. The square hosts farmers’ markets, outdoor concerts, and other events, the bubbling tea shop will be a great addition to the center.

2151 Salvio St. used to belong to PostNet, a printing and shipping service center, it has since closed down.
