Owner Steve Decosse confirmed the new venture but was otherwise unavailable to disclose any further details. What we do know, according to a recent Craigslist ad hiring for all positions, is that Overland’s inspiration spawns from the “Bazaar” markets found in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Expect cuisine inspired by the warmth of the Levant region made with the bounty of the surrounding Sonoma County agricultural scene. An instagram post of freshly picked quince fruits hints that there will even be house-made specialty drinks, like a quince-flavored soda.

We’re sure more information will come out closer to opening as Decosse and his team are hard at work preparing their new restaurant, on top of continuing operations over at Acre Pizza. In the meantime, stay tuned to their website and Instagram for more updates.
