Coming to 4618 Old Redwood Highway, Hapa’s On the Mainland will land near establishments such as Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii, Machado Burgers, and Starbucks.
“Hawaii is a melting pot of ethnic cultures and nowhere is this influence more profound than in its cuisine: a fusion of Hawaiian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Filipino, and Chinese influences,” the concept shares on its website.
The introduction continues, “Hapa’s will merge the attraction of Hawaiian-inspired cuisine, the warmth and hospitality of the aloha spirit, and beautiful island design to transport our guests to the Big Island.”
“Featuring a modern tiki lounge with craft cocktails and an extensive rum and sake selection, Hapa’s will be an elevated but approachable dining experience fit to become a neighborhood favorite.”
What Now San Francisco reached out to the concept’s co-owner, Dennis Tussey — who is also the restaurateur behind Sweet T’s in Windsor — to inquire about the upcoming eatery, but he could not provide additional information before publication.
An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
